With a Father who was an airline mechanic and a Mother who piloted small aircraft, Maria Dutton was essentially born into the Travel industry. She took her first flight at 4 months old and spent much of her childhood flying to destinations all over the US and abroad. Knowing she wanted to spend her life traveling and exploring the world, Maria began working at Dulles Airport for various small airlines before finding herself at TWA. Wanting to expand her knowledge and travel options, Maria began working for a local travel agency in Manassas, Virginia.

Many years later, Maria seized an opportunity to purchase Passages Travel & Cruises, then located in Winchester. A year later, she relocated to Front Royal and opened a storefront on Main Street & Chester Street. She then expanded the business to 203 E Main Street (where Royal Oak Computers is currently located). By 2010, Maria moved Passages Travel & Cruises to her home office on South Charles Street. She sought to fill a void in the industry by providing a more personal and tailored travel planning experience for her clients.

Maria strives to provide her clients with exceptional customer service and is looking forward to her next Escorted Adventure. 

Fun Fact: Maria LOVES the snow! When there’s a big snowstorm you will find Maria outside making snowmen and snow dogs, going on flying saucer runs with twists and turns, and skiing out west.

 Travel Concierge & Marketing Specialist

Jenna began traveling at the age of 8 months old with her 1st cross-country flight from Los Angeles to Washington, DC. She made that coast-to-coast flight many times as a child and teenager, and began traveling internationally at age 15.  

Having grown up in a multicultural and multilingual home, along with living in several diverse communities through California and Northern Virginia, Jenna found her foreign language skills an invaluable tool as she entered the workforce. For more than 16 years, Jenna honed her office administration and print/digital marketing skills in a number of industries including a software company, a regional security group, and 2 International Skin Care Brands. When she met Maria in 2004, Jenna was the Creative Marketing & Social Media Director at a Northern Virginia Real Estate Group. Maria and Jenna began working together on an “as needed” basis as Passages Travel & Cruises began to expand it’s social media presence. In 2016, Jenna began working with Maria as a Travel Advisor. Throughout the past 7 years, Jenna has enjoyed expanding her knowledge of the Travel Industry and helping her clients travel the world and explore exciting locations. She is looking forward to many more journeys abroad. xxx at the top of her bucket list.

Fun Fact: As a young child actor in Los Angeles in the 1980’s, Jenna appeared as an extra in several tv shows and a popular movie, as well as starring in 2 television commercials that aired in Mexico.
